Eugenio Recuenco - a spanish inspiration

The first time when I saw a short advert for Loewe directed by the spanish photographer Eugenio Recuenco I was inspired. His vision and devotion to his work are memorable. After I saw a 'making of' I was certain, that this man is a pure artist. He measures every inch of the set with a camera. Makes everything go smoothly.



 His portfolio is quite impressive as he has worked for many fashion companies: Diesel, Mango, Chanel, Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Louis Vuitton, and magazines such as Vogue, Madame Figaro, Twill. His style is defined as 'cinematic'. He is one of the most creative spanish photographers these days. He claims to use classical paintings as inspiration, and it's pretty easy to see - the use of colour and light make his works very pictoral - like movie stills. Once you see his style of work - you can't confuse him with another artist.
